In the countryside of Burlington, North Carolina sits Coleman Barn. Just an hour outside of the hustle and bustle of Raleigh, this barn is situated on private land and gives you a peaceful calm as you take the winding country roads back to this venue. The gazebo that sits perfectly on the edge of a glistening lake with rolling hill backdrop houses permanent. bench seating which makes for a perfect and simple ceremony setup. A few open air pavilions sit behind the main barn, giving brides and grooms plenty of reception options.
From my first conversation with Emily & Ryan, I felt like they were friends, not just clients. The entire day while surrounded by their friends and working alongside their photographer, Savannah Ward, I felt like I had known them both for years instead of a few months. Emily and Ryan were married by Emily’s father, a pastor, in front of their closest friends and family. We were graced with clear, Carolina blue skies all day that eventually faded into one of those epic cotton candy skies that only North Carolina can quite get right. There were laughs, a few tears, and plenty of dancing
