Bovara is a name rooted in family. A merging of my parents’ surnames - Bovitz and Arabanos - it brings together two family histories, each with its own heritage, values, and stories. It’s a reflection of where I come from and a reminder of the things that matter most to me: connection, belonging, and the stories that shape us.

Those same values are at the heart of how I approach wedding filmmaking. A wedding is more than the joining of two people; it’s the coming together of families, traditions, and lives that have each taken their own path to this moment. I’m drawn to the stories that make each couple who they are, and I feel lucky to preserve a small piece of where they’ve been as they begin what comes next.
